Project Description

Farmers Fishers Bakers, a 9,700-square-foot restaurant in Washington, DC, seamlessly combines form, function, and creativity. The space formerly housed Farmers & Fishers, a restaurant ruined after the Potomac River in Washington, DC flooded the space. The owners called on GrizForm Design Architects to reimagine the restaurant, complete with a with a farm theme full of folk-like touches and unusual materials with an emphasis on custom design.

Its latest reincarnation consists of several micro-climates, with distinct spatial configurations to evoke a different experience in each. From intimate nautical-themed booth seating and outdoor tables on the year-round patio, to the semi-private Baker’s Table and Sushi Bar, every table gives diners a view of playful farm-themed custom artwork.
