Project Description
GrizForm Design Architects teamed up with Tim Ma to bring his Chinese-French inspired restaurant, Kyirisan, to the popular Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. GrizForm created a design concept for the 2,500-square-foot space that complements the menu and pays homage to Ma’s Chinese heritage and training at the International Culinary Center.
The project team used Ma’s cooking style and personality as inspiration and channeled it into the chef’s latest outpost. The project team created a layered design filled with a variety of textures that blend cohesively with simple, elegant lines.
