Project Description

GrizForm worked as the Architect of Record with Goodrich as the designer on this outstanding project. The design for this New York City hot spot softens modern architecture with warmth and refinement.

The emphasis on live fire, central to Ci Siamo's culinary identity, is reflected in lighting and material choices such as terracotta and glazed ceramics, forged metal and blown glass, in order to express a parallel between the cooking processes and the artisanal process. The design uses natural materials paired with warm lighting, to create intimacy in the modernist base building, softening the modern architecture with warmth and refinement.
